Mia is an adorable yorkie mix. She is estimated to be about 2 years old, with a sweet grin and charming disposition. Mia tends to be a bit shy and submissive to humans and dog companions. She enjoys playing with gentle dogs her age or will self amuse with a squeaky ball. Mia weighs about 15 lbs, has house manners and is crate trained. However, please never assume perfection, there is always a learning curve and schedule adaptation for every adoption. Mia is good with gentle cats and all people as well. She is a pretty quiet girl but will let you know if she needs to go out. Mia is looking for a loving home that will let her blossom. She may have had some prior abuse accounting for some of her shyness. Once she feels safe, her confidence will shine. Mia does have a low thyroid which requires daily pills and a blood test annually. Her thyroid meds will cost about $12.00 a month and will be needed for a lifetime. If you are unwilling to be committed to her minor medical needs, please do not apply. Mia is spayed, up to date with her vaccinations, heartworm negative, had a recent dental and microchipped.
