GENTLE BLIND SENIOR LONGING FOR HER OWN HOME. Mandy lived a loving life with her Mom in Southern IL. However, her Mom needed to move on to assisted elder care and could not take Mandy. Mandy found herself at a high kill shelter in Southern IL. Mandy is 12 years old, happy and enjoys sitting in the sunshine outside in nice weather. She is quiet and agreeable with other animals and all people. She is house trained and will let you know when she needs to go out. Mandy is sight impaired and should not go up or down stairs. She navigates well in a home once she knows where she is. Mandy wants a nice quiet home where she can live her life with love and care. She is healthy with a slight heart murmur not unusual at her age. She does have chronic dry eyes like many of her breed do. She will resist cleaning her eyes and getting her drops. Patience and slow going are needed. Beyond that, Mandy is super easy. She will sleep on her dog bed or on your lap. We want to find her a home where your lap will feature. She is quiet and limits barking to let you know when she is hungry or needs a potty break. Mandy will make a great companion. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
