Sandy is the perfect dog for you if you want a Velcro Dog!

Sandy is a happy go lucky dog who wants to follow 2 steps behind you and jump in the shower with you if you let her.  She gets even closer if good food is going on in the kitchen and she thinks it will fall her way.  If you don't want a dog near you 24/7, she isn't the dog for you.

Sandy thinks that guarding her yard from squirrels is one of her tasks.  Chasing and barking at them is her job! Sandy is a good natured dog.  She wants nothing more than to please her family.  She is fine with dogs and cats.  However, she can be a little bossy sometimes and may guard her food if other dogs are present.  She is easily corrected but if there are other dogs around you need to be aware.

Sandy has house good house manners.  However, when she needs to go it is important she isn't detained or sometimes she may not hold as long as other pups.

She was surrendered by her family to animal control because she had gone rear paralyzed,  We suspect she had IVDD, and treated her accordingly, Sandy may or may not have another IVDD episode in her future. A condition of her adoption is that the family contacts us immediately and allows us to coach them through her recovery which is simple and inexpensive over an 8 week period,

Sandy has been fully vetted and healthy,  She is spayed, up to date with her vaccinations..  She is microchipped and had a recent perfect full bloodwork panel She had a full dental and is heartworm negative.   Caring for poodle pups often requires  more frequent dental care as they tend to have teeth that need cleaning more often than other breeds.  Keeping an eye on ears is equally important.
